Dot NET Domain Names
When the Dot NET generic top-level extension was first introduced in 1985, together with the first domain extensions on the Internet, it was intended to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure organizations. Considering the fact that there were no particular requirements about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, dot NET domains were acquired and used for different purposes and by a huge number of people. This domain extension is an ideal substitute of dot COM, particularly if the desirable domain with the latter extension is not available for registration.
Securing a dot NET domain with our company is as easy as ABC and takes only a couple of minutes, taking into account that we work with an ICANN-certified registrar company. You can buy such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already possess a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer process is done. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have taken an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures established by the .NET Registry organization against unauthorized transfers. You can easily correct the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you wouldn't like this info to be visible at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to get your true contact info.
The .NET domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can decide whether you want to concentrate on a certain country or zone using a domain name in the local language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
